IS SEEKING ACTORS

FOR OUR 29^TH SEASON:

A Christmas Carol (Performances in Ann Arbor - December 10 – 14, 2008)
Our musical version of this holiday classic depicting Scrooge’s miraculous transformation
the night before Christmas.
NOTE: We are looking for several actors/actresses who sing well—most will play multiple characters in the production. 
Please Note: We will have a separate audition for children ages 8 and up on Tuesday, September 23rd. Each child should sign up for a 1/2 hour timeslot between 10am and 12pm that day, where we will ask the young actors to sing a song selection of their choosing (acapella) and do some improvisation with other children assigned to that timeslot.  Any interested children should be available to rehearse during weekdays (rehearsals generally run 10am-1pm a few times a week) and available for all of the performances. 

The Cricket in Times Square (Perf. in Ann Arbor - April 29 – May 3, 2009)Based on George Selden’s classic children’s tale of life in New York City in the 1930’s, this story of urban life is told through the eyes of Mario who works at his family’s newsstand in the subway station under Times Square and three improbable friends: a cat, mouse, and cricket, who bring music and wonder into the lives of thousands of commuters.
NOTE: We are looking for several actors/actresses —most will play multiple
characters in the production

We are also looking for an actor or two to join our
touring company—you will learn one or more roles
and be contracted to perform throughout the state
during the 2008-2009 season.
