We’ll crisscross the nation, bringing to life the tall tales that helped create our unique “melting pot” heritage: life along the Mississippi with Mike Fink and Sally Ann Thunder Ann Whirlwind Crocket, a Louisiana bayou with Compere Lapin and a southwestern village where old Tia Miseria has a trick or two up her sleeve. |

| Drum Me a Story is a delightful, humorous collection of well-known African tales including “Anansi and the Moss Covered Rock” and “How the Turtle Got Its Shell,” performed through storytelling, acting and drumming. As part of the performance, Jaclyn Morrow, who has studied drumming for years, demonstrates her many drums and teaches the audience about them. Drum Me a Story makes a great Black History Month assembly. This show can be adapted for preschoolers as well. |

| Hawk, I'm Your Brother is based on the beautiful Byrd Baylor story depicting a Native American boy, Rudy Soto, who longs to fly. He captures a baby hawk from its nest with the intention that the bird's "magic" will somehow wear off on him. Rudy finally realizes that the wild hawk will never be happy in captivity, and he decides to let it go. When the hawk flies free for the first time, Rudy's heart soars, too. |

| An original production of trickster tales from South America performed bilingually in Spanish and English with the two languages seamlessly woven together. Whether its wily Pedro Urdamales tricking Don Jose out of all his gold or Cuy the Guinea Pig convincing Senor Antonio, the Fox, that the only way to keep the sky from falling is to hold a large rock over his head all day long, these humorous stories will keep the audience in stitches while introducing the language and culture of our South American neighbors.
